Strip Malls
COMMERCE WAY, PLYMOUTH, MA
This multi-building, multi-tenant project was completed in an impressive 8 months. Tenants of Commerce Way include 110 Grill, Chipotle, Jersey Mike’s, Sleep Number, and a Credit Union.
Highlights of our work include:

Stop & Shop Grocery Stores
STOP & SHOP GROCERY STORE, NANTUCKET, MA
MDM Construction built this replacement store for an outdated structure and helped manage the extensive review with the local planning, zoning, and historical district commissions.
Highlights include:
Architectural style accomodated the sensitivities of local residents, neighbors, and the review board's preferred and predetermined island aesthetic
34,000 square foot structure
Emphasis on energy efficiency, modern amenities, and ensuring ample parking.
STOP & SHOP GROCERY STORE, PEMBROKE, MA
Testing a new Stop & Shop Grocery Store concept, this project was for a smaller than average, 45,000 square foot grocery store.

This project included a full interior remodel of the Greenville Rhode Island Stop & Shop Grocery Store to modernize the building and operations.

DEL FRISCO’S GRILLE, WESTWOOD, MA
This ground-up construction project included lots of high-end details and special construction elements to make this indoor/outdoor space feel luxurious and seamless.

Specialty window assembly to create a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces

STARBUCKS, BROCKTON, MA
A ground-up project, we are proud that we completed the entire construction of this Starbucks near the Westgate Mall in Brockton. In addition to the building, we upgraded the Westgate Mall parking lot to conform to the new elevations.
Highlights include:
Use of custom starbucks materials shipped from Germany
Redesigned the patio to update the architect’s plan given elevation changes
Built the drive-through and installed custom site lighting and signage

THE PAPER STORE, PLYMOUTH, MA
When the paper store in Colony Place in Plymouth moved to another location within the plaza, we helped them turn 3 seperate retail spaces into one large redesigned store.
Highlights include:
Relocation within colony plaza in plymouth
Extensive structural work to accomodate the new layout

INDUSTRIAL LAUNDRY FACILITY, NANTUCKET, MA
We built this private, industrial laundry facility to accomodate the laundering needs of all of the hotels on Nantucket, MA.
Highlights include:
State-of-the-art technology used throughout
Built the entire structure including ceiling, floors
Installed all of the technology, including high-end ventalation system
CLASSY NAILS & SPA, PLYMOUTH, MA
This tenant fit-out incorporated custom, high-end details to create a luxurious experience for the clients’ spa customers.
Highlights include:
Installation of custom tables and vents to remove chemical smells
Remodeled space previously used by the Paper Store
Installation of high-end lighting and a fully integrated vacuum system
GENTLE DENTAL, BRIGHTON, MA
We conducted a complete renovation of this dental office to modenerize the space and to update the aesthetic.
Highlights include:
Completed the entire renovation in the evenings so they could stay open and continue to see patients
Accomodated the use of high-end technology and safely worked around it
Updated the flooring, ceiling, counters, and painted the office throughout
TRADER JOE’S GROCERY STORE, BOSTON SEAPORT
MDM Construction converted an old glass factory from the 1800s into the Boston Seaport’s Trader Joe’s. We kept the look and feeling of the old building and incorporated modern details. Throughout this new grocery store, we incorporated custom woodworking, refridgeration units, registers, and shelving to build this a beautiful, one-of-a-kind building.
Highlights include:
This store marked Trader Joe’s 500th store opening!
Changed the location of the exterior doors while retaining the historic arched brick design

WHITE ELEPHANT INN, NANTUCKET, MA
This stunning project was completed in the off-season and within just 5 months to ensure the White Elephant Inn could open in time for summer. We completed the gut-renovation of 40 bathrooms and updated them with new flooring, lighting, appliances, furniture, fixtures, tiling, bathtubs, and showers.
Highlights include:
Complete update of the cooling system
Installed an exterior canopy tent area
